How can I engage services with Mayfield Title?

To get a file started, all we need is a signed sales contract and/or a Title Request from your lender of choice. You can provide your own contract, or we can draft one for you.

How long does the closing process take?

Mayfield Title can close a Cash Sale within a week. Traditional financed purchases and refinances can take up to 30 days. Give us a call today to discuss your specific time frame.

What is Title Insurance?

Title insurance is a unique form of insurance that protects the Title of your property for as long as you own it. It provides coverage for future claims or future losses due to title defects which are created by some past event. Mayfield Title will conduct an extensive search of public records to determine the state of the current title, but there is always a possibility of “hidden risks”. Title insurance will protect you from these potential “hidden risks” in various ways including: (1) Defending your title, (2) Bearing the cost of settling the covered matter, or (3) Paying you for the loss due to the covered matter. Title Insurance only has a one-time premium which is payable at closing.

What do I need to bring to closing?

Please bring your Driver’s License or any other government issued photo ID. In addition, if you are bringing funds to the table, we require all funds to be in the form of a Cashier’s Check made payable to Mayfield Title, LLC.
